Feb 23 - Our Last Day

This post makes me sad... It was our last day in Costa Rica and we all hated to leave.
There is no where on Earth that I feel as amazing and free as I do there. I will return again and again for the rest of my days. To those who think that variety is key to travel, I must remind you that CR and Eurpoe are the only places that I have travelled to and not gotten sick or injured (stupid Spider in Vegas!) haha. Being able to drink the tap water and not worry about getting sick for me is better than anything!
The boys snorkled our last day and got some seriously cool shots of the fishes!

The pool below was part of our little resort where we rented our villa.

Do you see the fire in trees, at this point the flames were about 20 feet from our villa, totally wild to not be concerned!
Elvira the kitten, I loved her and she loved me. I wanted to take her home so bad, Naomi would have killed me! LOL

One of the things I miss the most are the limes with the orange interior.... So so good!!!
I feel I must end this post with one last parting thought for anyone reading.... GO TO COSTA RICA! It is beautiful wild exotic and fresh, with wonderful people and amazing sites.
I can not wait to return!!! PURA VIDA!

Feb. 22 - Another Gorgeous Day at Playa Hermosa & Going Out!

We headed over to Playa Hermosa most days as Coco Beach was smoky due to the fire. It was about a 10-15 minute ride on the Blanca the golf cart.

Coconuts on the beach! NOTHING better, I have missed them everyday since we got back.
Playa Hermosa!

Sushi lunch on the ocean. Not much can be better!

Feb. 20 - Rainy Day and Then On to Coco Beach!

We had our only "not good" weather day on Monday in La Fortuna, however we walked into and walked home after a couple of hours of shopping and lunching. The rain is fast and furious, but it is still warm and is in no means cold. We were super lucky and never got caught once without cover!

There were tons of these little bee's buzzing around this wood shop below is a picture of what must be their hives.

That afternoon Johnny picked us up and drove us into Coco Beach. We stopped for one last look at Lake Arenal and of course we snapped a few photos!

When we arrived to Coco Beach in the dark, we drove into a valley surrounded with fire, not overly comforting to say the least however I guess a jungle fire is not the same as a forest fire. This took some time to really understand and I don't think any of us really ever was 'comfortable'. However nothing was damaged and no one else seemed to be worried at all....
